Volvo P1800e Ј20990
With great reluctance I am selling my P1800e. It’s an excellent example of the marque. The car was privately owned for over 20 years and serviced at Volvo and at marque special Amazon Cars with the last service being completed in April 2015 at a cost of Ј670.
Amazon Cars have upgraded the suspension  and rebuilt the engine as new , converting the heads to take unleaded fuel in the process.These upgrades are invoiced in excess of Ј10000.
The car has an exceptional provenance including original handbooks and 40 years of service records. These include the original manuals and extensive service from Volvo Main dealerships; and the suspension and engine upgrades from Amazon Cars. Both Rob Emma know the car and can verify its condition and quality.
The underneath was Dinitrol treated by a Bentley specialist in 2014 who described the structure as exceptionally solid and this was verified by the latest MoT test which has no adverse advisory comments.
The interior upholstery and door cards and handles were all restored by a classic car specialist trimmer in 2014.
The car is advertised for sale elsewhere and I reserve the right to withdraw from sale .
The pictures below were taken within the last week and the tyres and Minilites are branded Good Year and genuine new Minilites. The original Rostyles with new tyres are also available with the car on sale.
I have owned this car twice and it’s only being sold to help find the purchase of a Jaguar E-type. If it doesn’t sell I will not be heartbroken!
This is a genuine sale of one of the best p1800’s in the world. It’s not the cheapest but it is one of the very best.
I looked for 12 years before buying this car and know that they an are appreciating asset in the classic car market.

P1800ES For Sale: Ј17995 ono
In order to make room for a new project, my fully restored Volvo 1800 ES in iconic ‘light blue metallic’ is for sale.
I bought it in 2004 and used it for several years before it became apparent that serious work was required to keep it on the road. The decision was made to restore it, and following a very long road this was achieved. It is now an excellent condition car that is more-or-less immaculate in every respect.
Bare metal respray in PPG 2k to correct colour specification
Head gasket change and engine recommission
Refurbished injectors and new seals etc throughout
Rear main seal upgrade

Currently bespoke K N induction manifold, but I have finally sourced and refurbished a good condition air filter assembly that will be fitted

All in all this is an excellent condition version of this unusual, desirable car. It is probably about the only rust free example on the market at the moment. Any hint of rust on these cars is the thin end of the wedge – we have the photos to prove! As you can see from the above, there has been no expense spared in the restoration. It was intended to be a keeper, but a new project forces sale. The asking price in no way reflects the amount spent!
It has 12 months MOT with no advisories. I have the original service book, but unfortunately prior to my ownership it was water damaged and is all stuck together. There is an instruction book and the hard to get hold of ‘Green Book’ workshop manual that will go with the car. All history from our ownership is present, but there is very little history prior to this.
There is a small toolkit, the correct original jack, and even a period Volvo First Aid kit!
I also have some hard to come by spares (rear, spare set of refurbished injectors, the original wheels with trims, rear side window) that would be available to the purchaser.
