Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Overview
- Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is the replacement for the company’s not-so-successful mid-sized sedan, the SX4. Priced between Rs 6.99 lakh – Rs 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Ciaz takes on the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna and other C segment sedans. Available in four trim levels, V, V+, Z and Z+, the Ciaz has both petrol and diesel engine options on offer. The petrol model of the car features a 1.4-litre VVT engine, capable of returning 20.73Km/l. Whereas, the diesel version of the car sports a 1.3-litre DDiS unit, which will return an impressive 26.21Km/l. With a fuel efficiency of 26.21Km/l, the Ciaz diesel engine has been claimed to be India’s most fuel efficient car.
The company also claims the Ciaz to be the longest and widest car in its class, thus offering a more spacious cabin than many of its rivals.
