Let us show you how, and take the first step to end nanny remorse for good.
Why use Colorado Nanny versus other another agency?
There are many nanny agencies from which to choose, but only a select few that have the experience and resources to find the best candidate for your family. At Colorado Nanny, we have been matching families and nannies for more than 10 years. Over the years, we have not only built a reputation as one of Colorado s foremost nanny agencies but also an extensive database of more than 4,000 nannies. Both our families and nannies rave about the fact that we truly listen to what both parties are looking for and only send the best candidates that match both parties needs. Where some agencies send families as many candidates as possible, we send only the best candidates. Read our testimonials to learn more about why our families choose Colorado Nanny!
Our flat-fee pricing structure also differentiates us from other agencies. Unlike agencies that charge a percentage of the nanny s first year salary, we offer flat-fee pricing that ensures our families they won t pay more for a more experienced nanny. We also offer a one-year guarantee on all long-term childcare placements and complete background checks at no additional charge.
Why use Colorado Nanny versus an online nanny service?
Busy families choose Colorado Nanny to save them the hefty investment of time and energy required to find a nanny through an online service. Our recruiters typically spend anywhere from 10-30 hours to find the right nanny for each family. Our families, in turn, only spend as much time as it takes them to interview the highly qualified nannies our agency has pre-screened and determined would be a good fit for the family.
Other advantages of working with Colorado Nanny include:
- Comfort of knowing candidates have been pre-screened before interviewing them in your home (vs. bringing an unknown into your home for the interview)
- Utilizing our agency to assist in creating a work agreement and pay/benefit negotiations, should you choose
- Ongoing support (e.g. help mediate issues that may arise during employment relationship)
Why hire a nanny versus daycare?
Mornings can be difficult when having to wake very young children at early hours to hustle them off to a childcare center before you head into the office. But what if it didn t have to be that difficult? Many of our families have tried daycare and report that the convenience of having a nanny is well worth the money they would have saved with daycare. Other benefits of having a nanny include:
- One-on-one attention to your child in your home, where your child is most comfortable.
- Less chance of your child catching viruses, which means healthier kids and parents that don t have to stay home with sick children.
- Duties completed that would otherwise take more of your time away from your children when you come home from work (e.g. children s laundry, tidying up play areas).
What cities do you serve?
Colorado Nanny proudly serves cities through Colorado s front range including Denver metro, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley.
What does Colorado Nanny require of their candidates?
Our minimum requirements are:
- Two or more years of nanny and/or teaching experience with excellent references (our average nanny candidate has between three and 10 years experience)
- Certified in CPR and first aid (or willing to get certified within the first month of employment)
- Valid United States drivers license, a reliable vehicle, current auto insurance and a clean driving record
- Clean criminal record
- High school diploma or GED
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age

What duties and responsibilities can we expect from our nanny?
A professional nanny s first responsibility is the safety and care of your children. It is also expected that your nanny will be responsible, if you desire, for doing child-related cleaning. This includes changing linens, laundry, tidying toys after play and keeping the kitchen clean after meal preparation. Many nannies are also willing to provide light housekeeping if time allows. This might include loading/unloading dishwasher, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
