Over 50 Years Combined Experience
Our firm has combined experience of over 50 years. If you were about to undergo serious surgery, would you want a surgeon five years out of medical school, or someone who had been handling procedures like yours for over twenty-five years? When you are looking for lawyers, find out how long the lawyers handling your case have been practicing. Often you will find that they have only been practicing 5 or 6 years. Experience counts. Each of the lawyers at the Medler Law Firm has been handling personal injury matters for over 25 years. John Medler is a graduate of Brown University and Tammy is a graduate of Washington University, two of the best colleges in the country.

You have probably heard that doctors can be “Board-certified” in their fields of specialty. Lawyers have a certification process as well. The National Board of Trial Advocacy certifies Civil Trial Advocates through a rigorous examination on ethics and professional responsibility, the rules of evidence, the rules of civil procedure, and trial advocacy. Individuals who pass the examination then must present a legal writing sample, which must be reviewed by experts. The applicant is then subjected to a peer review, which includes recommendations of judges before whom the applicant has recently tried civil cases. Only after passing this gauntlet is a trial lawyer allowed to be “certified” as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. As of January, 2017, John Medler was one of only 8 civil trial lawyers in St. Louis who was Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate with the NBTA. Don’t you want the lawyer handling your case to be Board Certified?
